Job summary

Trinity Health PACE Organization seeks a Dietary Manager to lead the dietary department, ensuring safe, nutritious meals aligned with therapeutic diets. You will supervise staff, manage inventories and budgets, and coordinate with the dietitian and administration to support participant health.

This full-time role offers Day-1 benefits, tuition reimbursement, and daily pay options, with a focus on quality care and staff development within a PACE setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Food & Nutrition or related field preferred; RD credentials are a plus.
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in quantity food preparation within healthcare, hospitality, senior living, or related industry.
• Supervisory experience required.
• ServSafe Certification required or ability to obtain within three months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily dietary department operations, including food preparation, meal service, sanitation, inventory, and purchasing.
• Ensure compliance with therapeutic diets, portion control standards, and food safety regulations.
• Supervise, coach, and develop dietary staff while fostering a positive team environment.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness, equipment safety, and adherence to organizational policies and procedures.
• Conduct weekly and monthly food inventories and manage departmental budgets and expenditures.
• Collaborate with administration and the dietitian to coordinate special functions and catered events.
• Interact with participants to enhance their dining experience and overall satisfaction.
• Provide education and training to health care professionals as needed.
