Job summary

Valir Health is seeking a Dietary Lead to oversee daily kitchen and dining services, ensuring safe, compliant food production and meal service under the supervision of the Dietitian/Nutrition Manager.

You will coordinate workflow, ordering, prep, sanitation, and compliance with state/federal rules while promoting a positive dining experience for participants.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Food Handlers Certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily kitchen and dining service operations to ensure safe, efficient food production and meal service.
• Coordinate kitchen workflow, food ordering, meal preparation, sanitation practices, and regulatory compliance.
• Ensure meals follow dietitian-approved menus and state/federal regulations, promoting a positive dining experience.

About the Role: Job Summary:

Working under the direction of the Registered Dietitian/Food and Nutrition Manager, the Dietary Lead coordinates kitchen workflow, food ordering, meal preparation, sanitation practices, and regulatory compliance. This position ensures meals are prepared according to dietitian-approved menus, applicable state and federal regulations, and organizational policies while promoting a positive dining experience for participants.
