Community Eldercare Services, LLC is seeking a Dietary Manager to lead the Dietary Department, ensuring nutritious meals in a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for residents.

You will supervise and develop the dietary team, coordinate meal service, and work with clinical staff to align menus with nutritional standards. A strong focus on quality, safety, and resident satisfaction is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 3-7 years of related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask and effectively manage competing priorities.
• Ability to meet applicable local health regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of the Dietary Department daily operations.
• Interview, hire, train, schedule, and evaluate dietary staff.
• Plan and direct departmental work with teamwork and accountability.
• Coordinate food ordering, preparation, delivery, and cleanup.
• Ensure food storage, preparation, and service meet standards and regulations.
• Monitor sanitation, food safety, equipment safety, and employee safety practices.
• Review resident diet information and address dietary requests and changes.
• Collaborate with nursing and other professional staff on Care Plans.
• Partner with the Dietary Consultant to ensure menus meet nutritional standards.
• Inspect food, prep areas, and storage areas for quality and compliance.
• Monitor food for taste, smell, appearance, and adherence to recipes.
• Address resident concerns and resolve issues promptly.
• Attend meetings with staff, administration, and regulatory personnel as needed.
• Maintain accurate records, calculate operating costs, and prepare reports for management.
• Promote a culture of collaboration, teamwork, and excellent customer service.
