Summary
Directs day-to-day operations of the assigned service areas, including overseeing tray line, staff scheduling and evaluations, meal rounds and cart delivery, tray line efficiency and accuracy, staff development, and overall patient satisfaction. Completes established competencies within the designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Education: 2-year degree in dietetics or related field. May substitute 2 years of experience for 1 year of education.
Preferred Education: Bachelor's Degree in dietetics or related field.
Minimum Experience: 1-2 years in a food service environment; 5 years of supervisory experience.
Required Certifications/Licensure: Certified Food Manager by the San Antonio Metropolitan Health District or ANSI Accredited Food Manager Certificate.
