Fairlane Senior Care & Rehab in Detroit is seeking an Assistant Dietary Manager to support quality nutritional services in a long-term care environment. You will work with a dietitian, manage supplies, and help maintain a safe, sanitary dietary department.

Qualifications include a CDM certification, a high school diploma or equivalent, and 3+ years in food service, preferably in long-term care. A team-oriented approach and strong customer service are essential.

Qualifications

• CDM certification is required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years of related experience in a food service department; long-term or health care facility preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills with commitment to delivering excellent, passionate, innovative care.
• Team player and collaborative team member.

Responsabilités

• Work with the dietitian to provide quality nutritional services.
• Ensure adequate levels of food supplies are available.
• Order supplies in a cost-effective manner.
• Ensure equipment is maintained and coordinate with the Administrator on replacements.
• Develop and manage the department budget.

The Assistant Dietary Manager assists in planning, organizing and developing the overall operation of the dietary department in accordance with current state, federal, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations. This position is responsible for ensuring that quality nutritional services are provided on a daily basis, and that the dietary department is maintained in a clean, safe, and sanitary manner.

How You Will Help People Every Day
