Job summary

Nightingale at Glenwood is seeking a Dietary Manager (CDM) to lead our dietary department, oversee menu planning, food preparation, and service delivery for residents, and ensure regulatory compliance with company policies. You will supervise dietary staff and collaborate with the healthcare team on nutrition plans.

The ideal candidate holds a CDM credential (or can obtain within 6 months), a high school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's preferred), and at least 2 years in food service

Qualifications

• CDM credential or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire
• High School diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred
• Minimum of 2 years in food service management or related field
• Knowledge of dietetics and nutrition principles
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills

Responsibilities

• Manage the dietary department, including menu planning, food preparation, and food service delivery
• Supervise and train dietary staff to ensure high-quality service delivery
• Develop and implement nutrition plans to meet residents' needs
• Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure regulatory compliance and policies
• Manage inventory, ordering, and receiving of food and supplies
• Ensure accurate record-keeping, budgeting, and financial management for the department

About the Role:

As a Dietary Manager (CDM), you will be responsible for managing the dietary department, including menu planning, food preparation, and food service delivery. You will oversee a team of dietary staff, supervise food production, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards and Company policies. You will also collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement nutrition plans that meet the unique needs of our residents.
