We are seeking a dependable, professional, and resident-focused Dietary Manager to assist with the daily operations of our dietary department serving both short-term rehabilitation and long-term care residents.

The Dietary Manager will assist with supervising dietary aide staff, coordinating daily meal service, maintaining food safety and sanitation standards, and ensuring residents receive courteous, timely, and accurate dining services.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with supervising and coordinating dietary aide staff.
• Assign daily duties and monitor completion of assigned tasks.
• Assist with staff training and onboarding.
• Monitor attendance, punctuality, professionalism, and compliance with dietary department policies.
• Assist with meal preparation, tray-line operations, meal delivery, and dining-room service.
• Ensure residents receive meals according to established diet orders and meal-service procedures.
• Support resident food preferences and provide respectful, resident-centered service.
• Communicate resident dietary concerns, meal refusals, complaints, and food-service issues to the appropriate supervisor.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of dining and food-service areas.
• Follow food safety, infection-control, and facility procedures.
• Assist with monitoring food temperatures and other required dietary documentation.
• Work collaboratively with nursing, dietary, rehabilitation, and other departments.
• Promote a positive and professional work environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications: Qualifications:

• Certified Dietary Manager (CDM); or
• Certified Food Service Manager; or
• Similar national certification in food service management and safety; or
• An associate's degree or higher in food service management, hospitality, or a related field that includes food service/restaurant management coursework.
