Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) certification or RD registration as required by state regulations.
• Minimum of two years supervisory experience in a healthcare setting (hospital, skilled nursing, LTC, or related).
• Knowledge of food service management, diet therapy, nutrition, sanitation standards, and cost control practices.
• Strong leadership, organizational and communication skills; ability to work with residents, families, staff and healthcare professionals.

Position Summary

The Certified Dietary Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, directing, and overseeing the daily operations of the Dietary Department. This role ensures that residents receive quality nutritional services while maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. The Dietary Manager also promotes a clean, safe, and sanitary dining environment and supports a positive dining experience for residents.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the Dietary Department.

Qualifications

• Current certification as a Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) or registration as a Registered Dietitian (RD), as required by state regulations.
• Minimum of two years of supervisory experience in a healthcare setting, including a hospital, skilled nursing facility, long-term care facility, or related environment.
• Knowledge of food service management, diet therapy, nutrition, sanitation standards, and cost control practices.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with residents, families, staff, and healthcare professionals.
