Job summary

Sapphire Health Services, LLC in John Day, Oregon seeks an experienced Dietary Manager to plan, organize, develop and direct the dietary department within our Community Based Care facility. You will ensure compliance with food service standards, policies, and practices while delivering high quality meals to residents.

The role involves managing the dietary program, developing menus, and maintaining records in accordance with regulations.

Qualifications

• 1 year leadership experience preferred.
• Must be able to obtain Serve Safe Certification within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Delivers high quality nutritional foods and services to residents.
• Schedule, supervise and assign tasks to the Dietary Department.
• Develops menus.
• Ensures residents' nutritional adequacy is met.
• 3–4 cooking days per week and 1–2 office days as directed by Executive Director.
• Maintains records and ensures compliance with Federal, State and Local regulations.
• Maintain inventory of products.
• Other duties as assigned.

JOB SUMMARY:

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Delivers high qualitynutritional foods and services to residents

• The Dietary Manager will assist in developing allmenu’s
• Assures that eachresident’s nutritional adequacy is met
• This position includes 3 - 4 cooking days per week and 1 - 2 office days as determined by Executive Director
• Maintains pertinent andappropriate records
• Ensure all Federal, State andLocal Regulations are met within the Department
• Maintain sufficient inventoryof products
• Other duties as assigned
