Job summary

Rehabilitation Center of Belmond is seeking a Dietary Manager to lead the Dietary Department and ensure residents receive meals that meet their nutritional needs.

You will supervise dietary staff, plan and direct all dietary operations, and maintain department cleanliness to provide a safe dining experience. A high school diploma, food sanitation certification, and Iowa Dietary Manager Certification are preferred, with opportunity for growth for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Food sanitation certification.
• Iowa Dietary Manager Certification (CDM).
• Prior Dietary Manager experience is preferable.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Dietary Department and ensure residents receive meals meeting nutritional needs.

As a Dietary Manager you will take charge of the Dietary Department. Your work will ensure our residents receive the high standard of food quality they have grown to expect at Rehabilitation Center of Belmond by planning and directing all aspects of the Dietary Department, supervising Dietary Staff, ensuring department cleanliness and ensuring residents receive meals that meet their nutritional needs. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they receive a pleasant and safe dining experience.

To be eligible for consideration applicants should have:

As a minimum, a high school diploma or equivalent, food sanitation certification, and State of Iowa Dietary Manager Certification (C.D.M) Prior Dietary Manager experience are preferable but we are willing to invest in the right candidate!
