Job summary

Avantara Watertown is seeking a Dietary Manager to lead our dietary department, planning and directing all dietary operations to ensure high-quality meals for residents. You will supervise staff, maintain department cleanliness, and ensure meals meet nutritional needs while providing a pleasant, safe dining experience.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, a food sanitation certification, and the South Dakota Dietary Manager Certification (CDM).

Your work will ensure our residents receive the high standard of food quality they have grown to expect at Avantara Watertown by planning and directing all aspects of the Dietary Department, supervising Dietary Staff, ensuring department cleanliness and ensuring residents receive meals that meet their nutritional needs. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they receive a pleasant and safe dining experience.

To be eligible for consideration applicants should have:

As a minimum, a high school diploma or equivalent, food sanitation certification, and State of South Dakota Dietary Manager Certification (C.D.M). Prior Dietary Manager experience and certification are preferable but we are willing to invest in the right candidate!
