Job summary

Manor House Care Center is seeking a Dietary Manager to lead our dietary department and ensure residents receive high-quality meals. You will plan, direct, and monitor all aspects of the dietary program, while supervising staff and maintaining cleanliness and safety standards.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, food sanitation certification, and Iowa CDM certification. Prior dietary manager experience is preferred, with opportunities for growth within our supportive team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Food sanitation certification required.
• State of Iowa Dietary Manager Certification (CDM) preferred; prior Dietary Manager experience beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Dietary Department and ensure high food quality.
• Plan and direct all aspects of meals to meet residents' nutritional needs.
• Supervise dietary staff and ensure department cleanliness and safety.
• Maintain compliance with dietary regulations and quality standards.

As a Dietary Manager you will take charge of the Dietary Department. Your work will ensure our residents receive the high standard of food quality they have grown to expect at Manor House Care Center by planning and directing all aspects of the Dietary Department, supervising Dietary Staff, ensuring department cleanliness and ensuring residents receive meals that meet their nutritional needs. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they receive a pleasant and safe dining experience.

As a minimum, a high school diploma or equivalent, food sanitation certification, and State of Iowa Dietary Manager Certification (C.D.M) Prior Dietary Manager experience are preferable but we are willing to invest in the right candidate!
