Job summary

The Highlands at Owasso is seeking a Dietary Cook to support the nutritional needs of residents, staff, and guests. You will prepare and serve meals following predetermined dietary guidelines and safety standards in a senior living community.

Ideal candidates have high school diploma or GED, experience in food prep and LTC dietary, a valid Food Handler's permit, and strong English communication and customer service skills. This is a full-time, on-site position with benefits after 90 days.

Position Summary:

Dietary Cook helps to provide the nutritional needs of our residents, staff, and guest. In this role, you will cook and serve food that follows specific, predetermined standards and nutritional or dietary guidelines. This role is essential to the health of our residents, so we are looking for someone with experience in both food preparation and nutrition. Applicants with experience in elderly care or cooking for individuals with strict dietary restrictions is highly desirable.
