Job summary

The Waters is seeking a Cook to prepare and assist with meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner for residents, following dietary restrictions and offering alternatives as needed.

This role requires basic institutional cooking experience, knowledge of sanitation, and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions. We value compassion toward elders and the capacity to work with a diverse resident population, with flexible shifts available.

Qualifications

  • Must possess, as a minimum, a high school education or equivalent.
  • One (1) year dietary experience in a hospital, skilled nursing care facility, or other related medical facility preferred (but not necessary)
  • Must have a sanitation certificate
  • Must be able to cook a variety of foods in large quantities
  • Must be knowledgeable of dietary procedures

POSITION SUMMARY
