Live Well Healthcare Solutions in Nashua, NH seeks a skilled Cook for a busy Skilled Nursing Facility. You will prepare meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner following standardized recipes.

Responsibilities include plating, maintaining sanitation, managing inventory and assisting with recipe development, and supporting the Dietetic Manager during absences. This full-time role requires availability every other weekend; benefits include PTO and insurance.

Qualifications

• Classically trained cook with experience in high-volume healthcare kitchens.
• Availability to work every other weekend.
• Ability to follow standardized recipes and maintain sanitation.

Responsibilities

• Meal preparation and cooking for breakfast, lunch, and dinner per standardized recipes.
• Plate and garnish cooked items for an attractive presentation.
• Assist Dietary Manager during absences to ensure seamless meal prep.
• Maintain kitchen sanitation before and after service.
• Manage inventory, rotate stock, and assist with purchasing and recipe development.
• Handle last-minute requests for special events.

Position Overview & Key Responsibilities

We are seeking a talented, classically trained Cook experienced in high-volume culinary operations to join our team at a Skilled Nursing Facility.

• Meal Preparation & Culinary Excellence: Accurately and efficiently prepare, portion, and cook a variety of nutritious meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner following standardized recipes.
• Plating & Presentation: Plate and garnish all cooked items expertly to ensure an attractive menu presentation.
• Leadership Support: Act as a liaison for the Dietary Manager during their absence to ensure seamless meal prep and delivery.
• Kitchen Sanitation: Maintain high sanitation standards by thoroughly cleaning the kitchen and all culinary equipment before and after food service.
• Inventory & Recipe Management: Manage inventory, handle stock rotation, assist with purchasing, and ensure recipe development and compliance.
• Special Events: Flexibly handle last-minute culinary requests for special events and facility functions.
