Live Well Healthcare Solutions in Langhorne, PA is seeking a talented, classically trained Cook experienced in high-volume culinary operations to join our team at a Skilled Nursing Facility.

You will prepare, portion, and cook nutritious meals; plate dishes; assist the Dietary Manager; maintain kitchen sanitation; manage inventory and recipes; and handle special events. This is a full-time, on-site role with comprehensive benefits.

• Experience in high-volume culinary operations.
• Ability to follow standardized recipes precisely.
• Strong attention to kitchen sanitation and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Meal Preparation & Culinary Excellence: Accurately and efficiently prepare, portion, and cook a variety of nutritious meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner following standardized recipes.
• Plating & Presentation: Plate and garnish all cooked items to ensure an attractive menu presentation.
• Leadership Support: Act as a liaison for the Dietary Manager during their absence to ensure seamless meal prep and delivery.
• Kitchen Sanitation: Maintain high sanitation standards by thoroughly cleaning the kitchen and all culinary equipment before and after food service.
• Inventory & Recipe Management: Manage inventory, handle stock rotation, assist with purchasing, and ensure recipe development and compliance.
• Special Events: Flexibly handle last-minute culinary requests for special events and facility functions.
