Live Well Healthcare Solutions is seeking a skilled Dietary Cook for a Nursing Facility at Raritan Post Acute in New Jersey. You will prepare meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner following standardized recipes, ensuring portion control and presentation.

Join a team focused on high-volume culinary operations, kitchen sanitation, inventory management, and dependable leadership support. Availability on alternating weekends is required to ensure continuous nutrition services.

Formación

• Classically trained cook with experience in high-volume operations.
• Experience in a skilled nursing or healthcare facility preferred.
• Ability to follow standardized recipes and ensure portion control.

Responsabilidades

• Meal Preparation & Culinary Excellence: accurately prepare, portion, and cook a variety of meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner following standardized recipes.
• Plating & Presentation: plate and garnish all cooked items to ensure attractive menu presentation.
• Leadership Support: act as liaison for Dietary Manager during absence to ensure seamless meal prep and delivery.
• Kitchen Sanitation: maintain high sanitation standards by cleaning kitchen and equipment before and after service.
• Inventory & Recipe Management: manage inventory, rotate stock, assist with purchasing, and ensure recipe development and compliance.
• Special Events: handle last-minute culinary requests for special events and facility functions.

Position Overview & Key Responsibilities

We are seeking a talented, classically trained Cook experienced in high-volume culinary operations to join our team at a Skilled Nursing Facility.

• Meal Preparation & Culinary Excellence: Accurately and efficiently prepare, portion, and cook a variety of nutritious meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner following standardized recipes.

• Plating & Presentation: Plate and garnish all cooked items expertly to ensure an attractive menu presentation.

• Leadership Support: Act as a liaison for the Dietary Manager during their absence to ensure seamless meal prep and delivery.

• Kitchen Sanitation: Maintain high sanitation standards by thoroughly cleaning the kitchen and all culinary equipment before and after food service.

• Inventory & Recipe Management: Manage inventory, handle stock rotation, assist with purchasing, and ensure recipe development and compliance.

• Special Events: Flexibly handle last-minute culinary requests for special events and facility functions.
