Job summary

Powerlink is seeking a skilled Dietary Cook for our Foodservice Operations team in the United States. The position focuses on food preparation, safety, and sanitation within a healthcare setting, supporting nutrition and therapeutic diets.

The candidate will assist the Culinary and Dietary Managers, help with ordering, and ensure a clean, compliant kitchen environment while collaborating with dietary aides and other staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum two years of cook experience in long-term care or healthcare.
• Ability to communicate in English (reading, writing, speaking).
• Ability to work weekends and holidays with flexible hours.
• Knowledge of cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures.
• Background in safety and sanitation compliance.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Ability to stand up to 10 hours daily.
• Must be local to Flagstaff, AZ and surrounding areas.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals according to dietary guidelines and menus.
• Assist with ordering and receiving supplies as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary kitchen area.
• Support dietary aides as necessary and supervise food production.
