Job summary

Rocky Mountain Care - Evanston in Evanston, WY, is seeking a Dietary Cook to prepare meals per planned menus and maintain high sanitation standards. You will assist the Dietitian/Director of Food Services and help ensure timely service to residents.

The role requires a high school diploma, a current Food Handlers Permit, and at least 1 year of food-service supervision experience is preferred. Weekend availability is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Current/Active Food Handlers Permit.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• One (1) year dietary/food service experience in a supervisory capacity in a hospital, nursing care facility, or other related medical facility preferred (but not necessary).

Responsibilities

• Prepares food in accordance with menus and plans.
• Reviews menus prior to food preparation and prepares meals.
• Works with Dietitian/Director of Food Services and implements changes as required.
• Performs administrative tasks and submits reports to the Dietitian/Director of Food Services.
• Assists in establishing production lines to ensure meals are prepared on time.
• Prepares and serves meals with adherence to portion control and therapeutic diets.
• Maintains sanitation and proper stocking of supplies and equipment.
• Participates in inventory and food storage activities.
