• Must be 18 years of age.
• One (1) year dietary/food service supervisory experience in a hospital, nursing care facility, or other related medical facility preferred.

Responsibilities

• Reviews menus prior to food preparation and prepares the meals.
• Works with the Dietitian/Director of Food Services and implements changes as required.
• Ensures food procedures follow established policies and guidelines.
• Completes necessary forms, reports, and submits to the Dietitian/Director of Food Services.
• Assists in establishing food service production lines to ensure meals are prepared on time.
• Prepares meals according to planned menus and standardized recipes, including therapeutic diets.
• Assists in serving meals on a timely basis and maintains portion control.
• Maintains cleanliness and proper storage of foods and supplies.
