Job summary

Live Well Healthcare Solutions is seeking a skilled Dietary Cook for Langley Post Acute in Virginia. You will prepare and serve meals across breakfast, lunch, and dinner, while maintaining a clean, organized kitchen and following standardized recipes for dietary compliance.

As part of a healthcare hospitality team, you will plate dishes attractively, assist the Dietary Manager in their absence, and support inventory management and special event needs in a high-volume facility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a high-volume culinary environment.
• Classically trained in cooking and meal preparation.

Responsibilities

• Cook meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
• Plate and garnish cooked items for presentation.
• Assist Dietary Manager in their absence to ensure accurate meal prep/delivery.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, including equipment.
• Manage inventory, purchasing, and stock rotation.
• Develop recipes to meet dietary standards.
• Handle last-minute requests for special events.
