Job summary

ContinuingHealthcare Solutions is seeking a Dietary Cook in Seaman, OH to support meal service for residents in a long-term care setting. This full-time role focuses on meal preparation, serving, and maintaining hygiene standards in the kitchen and dining areas.

The ideal candidate has prior experience in a dietary department, preferably within healthcare, and will adhere to all policies and regulations while delivering attentive resident care.

• Responsible for meal service and assisting in preparation of food.
• Careful adherence to policies, procedures, and federal, state and local guidelines for long-term care.
• Previous experience working in a dietary department is required, preferably in a healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely delivery of meals and provide courteous dining service to residents.
• Follow all applicable policies, procedures and current guidelines for long-term care.
• Prepare food in accordance with established policies and regulatory requirements.
• Assist in keeping kitchen and dining areas clean and organized.

Experience and Skills

Responsible for meal service, assisting in preparation offood, care and cleaning of food service equipment, setting uptrays and dining room tables.

Ability to ensure the delivery of meals and customerservice for a positive dining experience. Follow allapplicable policies and procedures as well as current federal,states and local guidelines and regulations that governlong-term care.

The Cook is responsible for the preparation of food inaccordance with current applicable federal, state, andlocal standards, guidelines and regulations, with ourestablished policies and procedures.

Previous experience working in a dietary department isrequired preferably in a healthcare setting.
