Requires a high school diploma or equivalent, the ability to follow written and oral instructions, and some cooking experience. Weekend shifts with a $2.00/hour premium, PTO, and a 403(b) retirement plan are included.

  • Ability to follow oral and written instructions and compute basic math problems. Some cooking experience is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Organizes daily schedule to accommodate efficient food production and service
  • Follows established policies and procedures for food safety and infection control. Follows food safety standards to facilitate efficient and safe food production
  • Dishes food in an attractive and appetizing manner on the tray line
  • Cooks’ food at the proper temperature, for the correct length of time and to minimize the length of time it is at room temperature
  • Documents food temperatures before serving food and documents temperatures after meal service
  • Utilizes correct portion control measures by weighing or measuring food as indicated
  • Uses proper cleaning and sanitizing techniques on work surfaces, equipment and cutting boards after each use and as required
  • Recognizes job relationships and functions effectively within the organizational structure

Work Schedule and Shift Premiums
  • Shifts may vary:
    • 5am - 1:30pm, 11am - 7:30pm, or 7am - 3:30pm
  • Will be scheduled for every other weekend and holiday
  • Weekend premium is an additional $2.00/hour
  • Paid Time Off: vacation and holidays
