MediLodge of Monroe in Monroe, MI is seeking a Dietary Cook Aide for a part-time role. You will assist with preparation and service of meals for residents, following food safety practices and the facility’s menu.

The position emphasizes teamwork, timely meal delivery, and maintaining clean work areas. Education requirements include tenth grade or higher; ServSafe certification preferred. Flexible scheduling, daily pay options, and referral bonuses are offered.

Qualificações

• Tenth grade or above desirable.
• ServSafe Food Safety Certification preferred, or other food safety certification as required in state or county of facility.
• Knowledge of safe food preparation and handling techniques.
• Ability to read and write at a level appropriate for the job.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents and their family members.

Responsabilidades

• Prepares and/or pre-portions food for regular and therapeutic diets according to the planned menu and events.
• Utilizes standardized recipes to prepare menu items and ensures food is served attractively.
• Ensures meals and snacks are delivered to designated areas on schedule.
• Maintains proper food temperatures and records temperatures.
• Serves resident meals in accordance with diet orders and preferences.
• Washes dishes and keeps work areas clean; follows cleaning procedures.
• Assists in receiving, storing, and verifying invoices for food and supplies.
• Maintains adequate stock and reports shortages to supervisor.
• Operates and maintains equipment safely and reports issues.
• Works as a team with residents, families, and visitors.
