Job summary

Lone Tree Post Acute is hiring a Dietary Cook to join our healthcare dining team. This full-time role prepares nutritious meals per established menus, dietary requirements, and food safety standards.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook meals according to established menus, recipes, and dietary requirements.
  • Follow special diet orders and resident-specific nutritional needs.
  • Ensure meals are prepared and served in a timely manner.
  • Maintain proper portion sizes and food presentation.
  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and infection control procedures.
  • Monitor food temperatures and maintain proper food storage practices.
  • Keep kitchen equipment, work areas, and food preparation areas clean and organized.
  • Assist with receiving, storing, and rotating food supplies.
  • Minimize food waste while maintaining meal quality.
  • Work collaboratively with dietary staff and facility team members.
  • Follow all facility policies, procedures, and applicable health regulations.
