Job summary

NHS Management, LLC in Prattville, Alabama is seeking a Dietary Cook to join our team dedicated to compassionate elder care. You will prepare meals that meet dietary guidelines, coordinate with the Food Service Director, and help ensure quality food service for residents.

Responsibilities include cooking large quantities, assisting with daily cleaning tasks, following written and spoken instructions, and maintaining safety and cleanliness standards.

Qualifications

• Previous experience cooking in large quantities preferred.
• Must have patience, tact, enthusiasm and positive attitude towards the elderly.
• Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English.
• Must be able to follow oral and written instructions.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

We are in search of a Dietary Cook within our growing organization:

• To prepare food in accordance with current federal, state and local standards, the facility’s established policies and procedures, and as may be directed by the Food Service Director, to ensure that quality food service is provided at all times.
• Assist and direct the daily or scheduled cleaning duties.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in cooking large quantities or completion of appropriate training program preferred.
• Must have patience, tact, enthusiasm and positive attitude towards the elderly and disabled
• Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English
• Must be able to follow oral and written instructions
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must be capable of performing the essential functions of the job.
