Job summary

North Ridge Health and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a Dietary Cook to prepare and serve high-quality meals for residents. The position supports residents with various dietary needs and works to ensure meals are nutritious, appetizing, and safely presented.

Shifts run 11:30AM-7:00PM, with responsibilities including inventory management, collaboration with the dietitian, and maintaining a clean, compliant kitchen environment. Join a caring team dedicated to resident wellbeing.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals, snacks, and special dietary needs for our residents in accordance with our menu and dietary requirements
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, adhering to strict safety and sanitation standards
• Monitor food inventory, ordering and stocking supplies as needed
• Collaborate with our registered dietitian and other food service team members to ensure resident food preferences and dietary restrictions are met
• Develop and implement creative and nutritious menu options for our residents
• Participate in meal service and ensure excellent presentation and plating of food
• Maintain accurate records of food preparation, inventory, and resident preferences
