Job summary

North Ridge Health and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a Dietary Cook to prepare meals for residents, following menus and dietary needs with attention to quality and presentation. You'll work with a food service team, maintain a clean, safe kitchen, and collaborate with our registered dietitian to meet dietary restrictions while delivering appealing meals.

This on-site role emphasizes teamwork and resident-focused care.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals, snacks, and special dietary needs for our residents in accordance with our menu and dietary requirements
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, adhering to strict safety and sanitation standards
• Monitor food inventory, ordering and stocking supplies as needed
• Collaborate with our registered dietitian and other food service team members to ensure resident food preferences and dietary restrictions are met
• Develop and implement creative and nutritious menu options for our residents
• Participate in meal service and ensure excellent presentation and plating of food
• Maintain accurate records of food preparation, inventory, and resident preferences
