Responsibilities

• Meal preparation: Prepare and cook a variety of meals for residents in a fast-paced setting.

• Stock and inventory: Track inventory, order supplies, and keep the kitchen organized.

About the Role:

As a Part-time Dietary Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and serving healthy, appetizing meals to our residents. Your duties will include:

• Meal Preparation: Prepare and cook a variety of meals, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner, in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Food Safety and Quality: Ensure that all food is prepared, cooked, and served in accordance with established policies and procedures, maintaining the highest standards of food safety and quality.
• Stock and Inventory: Manage inventory, order supplies, and maintain a clean and organized kitchen.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with dietary staff, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Innovative Problem-Solving: Think creatively and develop solutions to food preparation and presentation challenges.
