Job summary

Jamestown Place Health and Rehab in Jamestown, OH is seeking a Dietary Cook to prepare meals in accordance with federal, state, and local standards and the facility's policies and procedures.

You will work with the Dietitian/Director of Food Services to implement menu changes, supervise food preparation, and ensure safe, nutritious meals for residents.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year dietary/food service experience in supervisory capacity preferred.
• Must be able to pass background check.

• Reviews menus prior to food preparation and prepares the meals.
• Works with the Dietitian/Director of Food Services as necessary and implements recommended changes as required.
• Performs other duties, as assigned. Ensures that food procedures are followed in accordance with established policies.
• Performs administrative requirements such as completing necessary forms, reports, etc. and submits to the Dietitian/Director of Food Services.
• Other duties as assigned.

Position Summary

The Dietary Cook prepares food in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations, with established policies and procedures.
