Dietary Cook

Deptford Center for Rehabilitation and Healthcare is seeking to hire a Dietary Cook for our Skilled Nursing Facility!

DUTIES:

• Preparation, cooking, and service of a variety of foods
• Baking a variety of rolls, cookies, cakes, and pies
• Working on tray line during meal service
• General cleaning of the kitchen
• Hand washing and sanitizing pots and pans
• Performing related work as required

REQUIREMENTS:

• Certification in healthcare cooking (ServSafe or Sodexo)
• Minimum one (1) year of experience in large-scale cooking
• Strong knowledge of large-scale and therapeutic food preparation
• Ability to perform some physical work
• Strong team player skills
• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to manage the kitchen in the absence of the Food Service Director
