Arcadia Care in Auburn, IL is seeking a reliable Cook to prepare meals in line with state and federal food safety standards. The cook will assist with menu reviews and ensure timely preparation of meals and snacks for residents.

Qualifications include at least one year of dietary/food experience in a hospital or similar setting and a State Food Service Sanitation certification; a Food Sanitation License is preferred. Competitive benefits are offered.

Job Summary

The Cook is responsible for food preparation in accordance with current applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations to assure that quality food service is always provided.

Essential Duties

• Review menus prior to preparation of food and prepare timely meals and snacks according to food safety guidelines.
