Job summary

AdventHealth is seeking an Nutrition Services Aide to update patient menus, manage stock, and assist with data entry and inquiries from patients and staff. You will apply therapeutic diet parameters to support accurate menu planning and coordinate with the Nutrition Services Team.

Requirements include strong communication, knowledge of diets, and basic computer skills; bilingual in English/Spanish is preferred. This role is on-site at a Kansas facility and involves day shifts as PRN scheduling.

Responsibilities

Job Description

• Update patient menus consistently to reflect changes in diet orders, discharges, and transfers, maintaining accuracy and compliance.
• Maintain sufficient stock of patient menus and office supplies to support uninterrupted and efficient service delivery.
• Perform data entry and computer-based tasks with precision while taking patient menu selections and resolving inquiries from patients, nurses, and physicians. Other duties as assigned.
• Apply comprehensive knowledge of regular and therapeutic diets to support accurate menu planning and patient nutrition care.
• Communicate dietary consults, referrals, and other critical information promptly to the Nutrition Services Team to ensure coordinated care.

Licenses and Certifications
