Job summary

Ebenezer, a long‑standing senior care provider, seeks a Dietary Assistant/Server for our Bloomington, MN Skilled Nursing Facility. You will deliver dining room meal service to residents and maintain kitchenette supplies to ensure smooth service.

No previous experience is required, but customer service skills, teamwork, and a compassionate demeanor are essential. Expect evening shifts, every other weekend, and a total of 40 hours per two weeks.

• Excellent customer service skills and proficiency, teamwork and positive demeanor required.
• No previous experience required, but prefer work experience in a customer service setting.
• Desire to work with seniors.
• Ability to interact compassionately and communicate effectively with residents and staff.

Responsibilities

• Serves prepared meals to residents and ensures the dining area is clean and inviting.
• Promotes and encourages positive resident relations and happiness with their meal service.
• Sanitizes equipment, work areas and maintains supplies.
• Assists with meal prep and special events.
• Provides kitchen support when needed with dish washing and cleaning of floors.
• Answers phones and communicates requests appropriately.

Job Overview

Ebenezer is looking for a Dietary Assistant/Server to join our team! This role is responsible for dining room meal service to our senior age residents and maintaining supplies in the kitchenettes for our Skilled Nursing Facility in Bloomington, MN.

This nutrition services schedule includes;

• 40 hours per two weeks
• Evening shift
• Includes every other weekend

Martin Luther Care Center, part of the Martin Luther Senior Living Campus is located in East Bloomington, near woodlands/wetlands and along the Minnesota River Bluffs.
