Ebenezer in Bloomington, MN is seeking a Dietary Assistant/Server to provide dining room meal service to residents of our Skilled Nursing Facility. This role supports kitchenettes and maintains a clean, inviting dining area.

The schedule is 40 hours per two weeks with evening shifts and every other weekend; no prior experience required though customer service is preferred. You will assist with meal prep, sanitize areas, answer phones, and help with special events while delivering compassionate

Job Overview

Ebenezer is looking for a Dietary Assistant/Server to join our team! This role is responsible for dining room meal service to our senior age residents and maintaining supplies in the kitchenettes for our Skilled Nursing Facility in Bloomington, MN.

This nutrition services schedule includes;

• 40 hours per two weeks
• Evening shift
• Includes every other weekend

Martin Luther Care Center, part of the Martin Luther Senior Living Campus is located in East Bloomington, near woodlands/wetlands and along the Minnesota River Bluffs. Managed by Ebenezer, we offer 137 units between our Skilled Nursing, Memory Care and Transitional Care. We have an outstanding team of tenured staff. The only thing missing is YOU! Serves prepared meals to residents and ensures the dining area is clean and inviting
Promotes and encourages positive resident relations and happiness with their meal service
Sanitizes equipment, work areas and maintains supplies
Assists with meal prep and special events
Provides kitchen support when needed with dish washing and cleaning of floors
Answers phones and communicates requests appropriately

No previous experience required, but prefer work experience in a customer service setting
Excellent customer service skills and proficiency, teamwork and positive demeanor required
Desire to work with seniors
Ability to interact compassionately and communicate effectively with residents and staff
