Ebenezer's Martin Luther Care Center in Bloomington, MN is hiring a full-time Cook/Chef to prepare meals using standardized recipes for our Senior Living Community. This role focuses on high-quality dining, proper temperature control, eye-appealing presentation, and timely service in a busy kitchen with day shifts and every other weekend.

Qualifications

• Experience: 1–3 years in culinary services.
• Must be 18+ years old.
• Food handlers certification within 90 days of hire.

Job Overview

Ebenezer is looking for a Cook/Chef to join our team at Martin Luther Care Center. This position is responsible for preparing and cooking meals as assigned using standardized recipes to meet established culinary standard s of high quality care. Culinary position will p lat e food for optimal eye ap peal to entice food consumption by our residents in our Senior Living Community located in Bloomington, MN.

This full-time culinary services position includes:

• 80 hours per two weeks
• Day shift
• Every other weekend

Martin Luther Care Center, part of the Martin Luther Senior Living Campus is located in East Bloomington, near woodlands/wetlands and along the Minnesota River Bluffs. • Food Handlers certification Issued by an ANAB-CFP accredited food sanitation program within 90 Days or

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate of Arts or Vocational/Technical Training - Food Service
• Working knowledge of basic Microsoft applications
• Food Protection Manager certification Issued by an ANAB-CFP accredited food sanitation program within 90 Days or
• Certified Food Protection Manager certificate (CFPM) Must be issued by the State of Minnesota for locations in the state of MN within 90 Days
