Yona is seeking a friendly Dietary Aide to join our team and help provide warm hospitality to residents, visitors and coworkers. You will support dining services, assist in meal preparation, and help maintain clean, organized dining areas.

Applicants should have proven dietary aide experience, strong communication skills, knowledge of sanitation, and be able to pass a background check. A high school diploma or equivalent is required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a dietary aide.
• Knowledge of sanitation and safety guidelines.
• Friendly with strong communication skills.
• Must provide a criminal background check.
• Apt in operating cookware and cooking appliances.

Responsibilities

• Set up dining areas with cleanliness and order.
• Prepare meals under supervision of dietary manager or cook.
• Deliver dishes and trays at designated times and rooms.
• Clear dining areas and collect plates, glasses, etc.
• Dispose of leftovers and take out garbage.
• Clean food stations and wash dishes and utensils.
• Stock ingredients and monitor inventory.
• Assist in tracking expenses and menu planning.
• Help maintain kitchen equipment and appliances.
