Job summary

Bedford Care Centers seeks a friendly Dietary Aide to assist with all dietary operations, including food prep, cooking, serving meals, and kitchen cleanliness. The role involves stocking, meal setup, tray checks for diet accuracy, and delivering meals to nursing stations.

Qualifications

• On-the-job training provided for all duties.
• Must read and write at a level sufficient to perform job duties.
• Must pass drug screen and have a satisfactory Criminal History Background Check

Responsibilities

• Assist with checking in groceries and supplies and storing food.
• Assist in preparation, setup and serving meals, snacks and loading food carts.
• Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, floors, dishes and the dishwashing area.
• Check food trays for menu and diet accuracy and resident preferences.
• Assist with proper storage of foods and supplies and communicate availability.
• Assist with cooking and operating dishwasher or other duties as requested.
• Deliver food carts to nursing stations for service of meals.

Job Summary

Duties and Responsibilities

• Assists with checking in groceries, other supplies, storing food, other duties as instructed
• Assists in the preparation, set ups and serving meals, snacks, drinks and loading food carts
• Cleans and sanitizes work areas, equipment, floors, dishes, utensils, dishwashing area and any other areas in the Dietary Department or Dining Rooms as needed
• Assists in checking food trays for menu and diet accuracy and for Resident's preferences
• Assists with proper storage of foods and supplies and communication regarding food and supplies availability
• Assists with cooking, operating dishwasher or other duties as requested and/or assigned
• Delivers food carts to Nursing Stations for service of meals
