Job summary

AA Healthcare Management is seeking a dedicated dining staff member to provide accurate, timely food service to residents in a care facility. You will handle, prepare and serve meals in a sanitary manner, set up trays, pour beverages and assist with labeling and safety procedures.

Responsibilities emphasize infection control, teamwork with dietary staff, following Residents’ Rights and facility policies, and participating in in-service training as required.

Qualifications

• Requires ability to read, write and comprehend in English.
• Must communicate effectively with residents and staff.
• Prior food service experience preferred, especially in long-term care.
• Maintains confidentiality of resident information.
• Adheres to infection control practices.

Position Qualifications:

• Works regularly with some information such as medical records or reports, financial reports, information on computer screens or other electronic devices, and records that are restricted to specific persons.
• Must comply with confidentiality policy.
