Job summary

AA Healthcare Management seeks a Dietary Aide to support meal preparation, service, and dining room cleanliness in a geriatric setting.

Duties include tray-line work, delivering food carts to resident floors, following posted menus and special diets, keeping work areas clean and sanitized, and participating in continuing education.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform job responsibilities
• Ability to speak English adequately to perform job
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must be interested in geriatrics, be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
• Knowledgeable of dietary techniques and procedures
• Be able to lift up to 25 pounds frequently and/or 50 pounds occasionally

• Disposal of trash and recyclables
• Per Diem Duties as outlined by Director of Dietary
• Attends and participates in continuing educational programs.
