Job summary

ARIA of Waukesha is seeking a friendly Dietary Aide to join our care team. You will serve meals, assist with tray delivery, and help prepare snacks according to menu schedules while honoring special diets.

The role includes maintaining a clean, sanitized work area and supporting a respectful dining environment for residents. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, are at least 18, and can read, write, speak, and understand English.

Responsibilities

  • Serve food items to residents.
  • Deliver food carts to resident floors.
  • Prepare snacks per posted menu; follow special diets.
  • Work on tray line.
  • Keep work area clean, organized, sanitized.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, respectable environment.
  • Work in dish room and pot sink.
  • Sweep and mop.
  • Dispose of trash and recyclables.
  • Per Diem duties as outlined by Director of Dietary.
  • Attend continuing educational programs.

Dietary Aide:
Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Working on the tray line
  • Responsible for keeping work area clean, organized, sanitized
  • Maintains a safe, clean and respectable work environment.
  • Working in the dish room and pot sink
  • Sweeping and mopping
  • Disposal of trash and recyclables
  • Per Diem Duties as outlined by Director of Dietary
  • Attends and participates in continuing educational programs.
Requirements
  • Ability to perform job responsibilities
  • Ability to speak English adequately to perform job
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must be interested in geriatrics, be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
  • Knowledgeable of dietary techniques and procedures.
  • Be able to lift up to 25 pounds frequently and/or 50 pounds occasionally.
