Job summary

AA Healthcare Management is seeking a Dietary Aide to assist residents with meals, deliver food carts to floors, and support daily dietary services in a Wisconsin long-term care setting.

You will prepare snacks per the posted menu, help on the tray line, keep your work area clean and sanitized, and maintain a safe, respectful kitchen and dining environment while participating in ongoing education programs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to speak English adequately to perform job.
• Knowledge of dietary techniques and procedures.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally.
• Interest in geriatrics and care of residents.

Responsibilities

• Serve food items to residents.
• Deliver food carts to resident floors.
• Prepare snacks per posted menu; follow special diets.
• Work on the tray line.
• Keep work area clean, organized, and sanitized.
• Maintain a safe, clean and respectable work environment.
• Work in the dish room and pot sink.
• Sweep and mop.

• Per Diem Duties as outlined by Director of Dietary.

• Prepares snacks in accordance with the posted menu schedule; makes sure that all special diets and dietary concerns are followed.
• Working on the tray line
• Responsible for keeping work area clean, organized, sanitized
• Maintains a safe, clean and respectable work environment.
• Working in the dish room and pot sink
• Sweeping and mopping
• Disposal of trash and recyclables
• Per Diem Duties as outlined by Director of Dietary
• Attends and participates in continuing educational programs.

Requirements

• Ability to perform job responsibilities

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be interested in geriatrics, be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
• Knowledgeable of dietary techniques and procedures.
