Job summary

Alhambra Health and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a detail-oriented Dietary Aide for a part-time position. You will assist in the preparation, service, and cleanliness of meals for patients, and support the kitchen staff as needed.

Responsibilities include following tray tickets, serving meals and beverages, and ensuring sanitation standards. The role requires high school diploma or equivalent and the ability to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must have 6 months of experience.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends, and lift 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assists in preparation, service, and cleanup of meals for patients.
• Assists cook as directed by the food service director.
• Prepares and portions nourishments, desserts, and beverages.
• Follows production sheets and tray tickets when serving meals to patients.
• Maintains clean, neat, and orderly work areas.
• Communicates with patients during meal times in dining areas.
