Job summary

Alhambra Health and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a detail-oriented Dietary Aide for a part-time role. You will assist in the preparation, service, and cleanliness of meals for patients, and support the food service team according to center procedures.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent and at least 6 months of experience, with the ability to lift 25 pounds and work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must have 6 months of experience in a dietary or food service role.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods.
• Good communication and customer service skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparation, service, and cleanup of meals for patients.
• Support cooks and follow dietary plans and portions.
• Label nourishments and portion desserts, salads, and beverages.
• Maintain clean and orderly work areas and follow sanitation practices.
• Serve meal trays to patients and assist in dining areas as needed.
• Follow tray tickets and production sheets; help with setup and cleanup.
