PACS is seeking a Dietary Aide to support daily kitchen operations and meal service. This role reports to the Cook and Dietary supervisor and requires the ability to learn procedures quickly in a health-care setting.

Responsibilities include setting up meal trays, assisting with serving, maintaining hygiene, and supporting dishwashing and food prep activities. A high school diploma and food handlers' certificate are required.

• Set up meal trays.
• Strip down returned trays and wash dishes.
• Assist with serving meals.
• Check chlorine concentration and water temperature of dishwasher at shift start.
• Observe dishwasher water temperatures during cycles.
• Operate the dishwasher.
• Prepare nourishments and snacks.
• Sweep and mop kitchen.
• Carry out trash and garbage.
• Put groceries away safely.
• Leave kitchen clean and sanitary.
• Clean work surfaces and refrigerators.
• Sweep and mop floors.
• Participate in orientation and ongoing training of dietary staff.
• Work cooperatively with all departments.
