Job summary

Archway Management is seeking a Dietary Aide to perform routine work in the Dietary Department under the Dietary Manager. Responsibilities include assisting in meal prep and service, setting tables, and maintaining sanitation and safety standards for residents and staff.

The role requires a High School diploma or equivalent, ability to read recipes and diet orders, and willingness to work flexible hours including emergencies.

Qualifications

• Reading recipe directions and diet orders.
• Willingness to perform routine tasks with interruptions.
• Numerical accuracy for recipe preparation and cleaning chemicals.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and handle dietary equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform defined work routines with dietary utensils and equipment.
• Assist cook in meal preparation and service.
• Meet scheduled meal and snack times.
• Follow Federal and State long-term care regulations and Dietary policies.
• Follow cleaning schedules and perform cleaning duties as scheduled.
• Arrange tray cards, load food carts and serve meals.
• Set up dining room and assist residents.
• Wash and store dishes.
• Report damaged or unsafe equipment and supply needs.
• Receive and store food supplies.
