  • Ability to work with geriatric patients while respecting their unique dietary needs and restrictions.
  • Basic math skills for portioning and inventory tasks.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, respectful approach toward residents and team members.
  • Commitment to workplace safety practices including manual handling techniques and PPE use

  • Serve meals with professionalism, ensuring adherence to dietary restrictions and special requirements.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen and dining areas following food safety standards.
  • Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, dishwashers, and food handling tools.
  • Support meal delivery, bussing tables, and cleaning duties to uphold sanitation standards and promote a safe environment.
  • Adhere to manual handling protocols during heavy lifting or movement of supplies and equipment.
  • Follow proper food handling procedures to prevent contamination and ensure food safety compliance.
  • Assist with inventory management by organizing supplies and notifying supervisors of stock needs.
  • Implement workplace safety practices consistently, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
