Job summary

Bangs Nursing and Rehabilitation is seeking a Dietary Aide to support daily food service operations within the facility. You will assist with meal tray setup, dishwashing, and serving meals, ensuring cleanliness and sanitary standards are maintained throughout shifts.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent and the ability to follow recipes and procedures. Training is provided to align with dietary supervisor expectations and kitchen routines.

Qualifications

• Ability to read technical procedures and follow recipes.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers and employees.
• Ability to work in cooperation with personnel across departments.

Responsibilities

• Learn food service routines quickly and set up meal trays.
• Strip down returned trays and wash dishes.
• Assist with serving meals and maintain dishwashing workflow.
• Check chlorine concentration and water temperature of the dishwashing machine at shift start.
• Clean work surfaces, refrigerators, and floors; sweep and mop kitchen.
• Carry out trash, store groceries safely; participate in training of dietary staff.
