Job summary

TarponBayou is seeking a Dietary Aide to support kitchen operations, meal tray setup, dishwashing, and service. The role requires following directions from the cook and dietary supervisor, maintaining sanitary standards, and assisting in training new staff.

You must have a high school diploma or equivalent and obtain a food handlers’ certificate. Responsibilities include assisting with meal service, monitoring dishwashing, and helping maintain inventory and cleanliness, enabling smooth shift

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must obtain and maintain a food handlers' certificate.

Responsibilities

• Learn food service routines and assist with setting up meal trays.
• Operate and monitor the dishwasher and cleanliness of the kitchen.
• Assist with serving meals, cleaning, and food preparation as directed by the cook/dietary supervisor.
• Record water temperatures and chlorine levels as required.
• Support training and orientation of dietary staff.
