Job summary

Orwigsburg Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is seeking an experienced Dietary Aide to join our dietary team. We offer full-time and part-time schedules with shifts from 6:30am-2:30pm and 4:00pm-8:00pm, requiring availability on holidays and weekends.

You will assist with light food preparation, ensure prescribed therapeutic diets are served, and support a well-balanced meal program in a healthcare setting. Training provided for the right candidate, and equal employment opportunity is valued.

Qualifications

• Must have basic knowledge of foods, nutrition, and food sanitation.
• Willing to wear hair covering and maintain grooming standards.
• Experience preferred but training will be provided to right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Assist with light food preparation.
• Ensure therapeutic diets are prepared and served as prescribed.
• Maintain organization and time management in the kitchen.
• Work with dietary supervisor and dietitian to provide well-balanced meals.
• Follow health department food prep regulations and maintain sanitation.
